About the event
Have you ever wondered how resin makers create smooth and perfect components - that look exactly like clay or have a matte effect?
Well the key is learning how to make your very own set of matte blanks with Polymer Clay. In this workshop I will share all my tips and tricks for creating amazing component blanks with polymer clay which we will make together, then you will learn all about acrylic blanks and how to create gloss blanks too.
We will be also talking about acrylic blanks - I will share my fav mould makers and suppliers for blanks. I will demonstrate how I prepare and layout a mould frame, I will show how I mix and pour silicone to create the mould and lastly I will share how I finish a mould to be ready for casting. VIRTUAL SPOT
This ticket is for a virtual spot via ZOOM within our workshop, you will need to have internet, a laptop/tablet or phone with the zoom app and a quiet space to work from, our virtual spots are displayed on a screen allowing you to be involved in the conversations. Overhead demo will be filmed and pinned in the zoom for you, as well as having an overall view of our studio. You will need to provide your own tools and supplies to participate - a list will be provided to you.

This ticket is for an In-Studio (In Person) spot in our studio, all tools, clay and workbooks are supplied as well as a VIP Gift and light refreshments while our goodies bake - What you will need to bring is a container to take your projects home and if you have any special tools or cutters you personally like to use you are welcome to bring them along. For this workshop we will be sharing clay machines so feel free if you want to BYO but you don't have to.
