MODERN BOTANICA
 
This colour mix collection was developed for The Makers Narrative. It is a playful collectio of 6 simple colours that all work together. Se the photos and the descriptions.
 
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD - it does not include physical colour swatches.  But if you wish to make colour swatches totally go for it and make sure you tag me if you share them on Instagram in either the swatch version or in your beautiful designs.  
 
As a maker I am inspired by my environment, emotions, music and people...literally my surroundings.  This is not limited to just designing a slab it also includes the colours I make with.  
 
A quick description of each colour.
BOTANICA
Literally a very very close match to Souffle Lagoon (Discontinued) with the added jazz of some black glitter, so perfect for a terrazzo! Which by the way you can take out if you just want the colour.
FREESIA
I'm a complete sucker for an off white...not quite white base. This beautiful ivory is so delish, I think I will use it a lot! Sometimes the simple colours are all we want. But with the smallest fleck of gold mica....
CALIFORNIA POPPY
Oh the name gets me, it screams wildflower summer, this sunrise orange is the burst of happiness I didn't know I needed this week! If you can try to use the colours in the recipe on this one. its perfect.
CYPRESS
Ok if you haven't already noticed I like to have a dark and mysterious colour in most of my collections. Not just for contrast, but because I love a really different but versatile colour.
Cypress is a forest green with a golden twist, I feel like the golden light just shimmers off her.
HIBISCUS 
Quite similar to another discontinued Souffle colour....Mai Tai, there is no shimmer in this colour mix she is matte AF, which is a nice balance. Pinky peach goodness right here.
THISTLE
I'm known to love a good lilac, and for this I wanted to make use of a unpopular colour...sorry silver.  She is definitely muted but damn she is cute.
 
 
 
With this download you will recieve a PDF which includes an introduction, all of the colour recipes with photos of the swatches and a comprehensive information sheet on how to understand the recipes and how to colour mix them too.  Keep in mind - your screen and my screen will show colours differently so the images in the PDF could seem either brighter, warmer or cooler and they could seem more or less saturated.  So until you mix the recipes you wont get a true version of my colours.
